What do you know about photography and/or photo editing? Do you take photos? How do you take photos? Do you edit photos before posting them on social media? How do you edit them? Explain any background or knowledge you have about photography and photo editing. Do you like it? Do you have any interest?

I love to take pictures. I usually take pictures on my phone or my moms camera. Before I post them on social media, I usually edit them to make them look more vibrant. My knowledge for editing is not very high, all I know is to not make the picture look fake. I love taking pictures, and I would love to learn more about how to make them look more high quality. I am excited next year to take a photography class and learn a lot more on how to take pictures.

Tell me About your weekend. Share pics!

This weekend The Freshman A1 team played in a sophomore volleyball tournament. This was our last tournament of the year. We came in second, and beat our own schools sophomore team. Our champion ship game was super close, but we couldn't pull ahead. After the tournament some of the players went to Jose Peppers and had dinner then we got together afterwards. This weekend was really fun, and i am going to miss the volleyball season.

Below is a letter written to the editor who wrote the article 'Enforcement of dress code creates negative effect' that your blogged about last week. Most of you wrote on your blog that you agreed with the writer. What are your thoughts after reading the letter below and seeing a different perspective. Are they the same? Are the different? Do you agree? Disagree? Explain yourself.

I think that teachers are just trying to help everyone focus, but I think we should be aloud to wear whatever we want as long as it doesn't show to much. I do agree that the students shouldn't wear spaghetti straps or wear shorts that show half our butt, but if we do I don't think we should get yelled at, I think they should ask us politely to wear something different the next day. I think the students will wear what they are comfortable in as long as it is not to showy.

Classes that would help you in life would be: Cooking, Survival, a class on how to spend your money. These classes would help me get through life because they are everything you need to survive. I would study ways to live without anyone else helping you, and making food on my own. I would spend my class time trying to understand how everything works so I can have a successful future. These classes would be a lot different than the ones I am taking now because the things I am learning now will not help me in my future. They wont help me on how to cook, or how to live alone. They would be super different.

The following article was in the September issue of The Tiger Print. Read the article (even if you already have) and respond to it below. What do you think? Do you agree? Disagree? Consider all perspectives of the article while you respond.

This article explains a lot of true statistics about our school and the culture. I think that girls should be able to wear whatever they feel comfortable in, and feel happy in. If they want guys to like them because of their body, so be it. Guys need to be more mature, and understand that having a girlfriend isn't about them having a nice body. I think that teachers should stop yelling at girls in the hallway just because their shoulders are showing, or because you can see to much of their thigh. Girls should have as much freedom as the guys have. Teachers have to understand they they were once a high school student too, and your clothes is the thing that you can express your personality with; but if you get yelled at for it, it's not fair. I think that girls should be able to wear whatever kind of clothes they like and not get yelled at for it. Just know, they are just expressing their personality. If we had to wear uniforms, we wouldn't know what kind of personality a person had until you talked to them. By seeing what someone is wearing can help you tell what kind of person that is and if you would want to talk to them or not, not having a uniform helps you determined what kind of person you re talking to.

Tell me about your weekend! If you don't have anything fun to share, tell me about the city you live in. What do you love about Kansas City? Do you have a favorite place in the city? Favorite team? :) Favorite event? Explain.

This weekend I had a volleyball tournament. We played at Shawnee Mission South High School on Saturday. We had a lot of tough teams that we played. Finally, we won, we got first place. Our team was so excited that we defeated all the teams we played. At the end of the tournament, we went to sonic to celebrate our victory. After my volleyball tournament, I went to see the new movie Annebelle with two of my friends. It was a really scary movie, and I recommend it if you like scary movies. This weekend was super fun, and I can't wait untell next weekend.
